3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap @ Naked City. Listed here as 5.6% and tastes bigger than that. Pours clear bright dark orange with very thin white head that still laces well. Aroma is flat medium caramel malt, bright lightly citrusy hops on the back. Taste is crispy juicy citrusy hops, while the malt fades quickly into the background. Slightly bitter and oaky on the finish. Nice fresh summer IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear orange-gold color with a medium thin foamy white head that dissipates gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, pine and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of piney hops and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
