COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A fresh-hop harvest ale brewed with Pale, Rye, Wheat and Light Munich malts, flaked oats and Amarillo bittering hops. Fifty pounds of experimental wet hops were added to the hop back. Thanks to Chris Miller from Snipes for sharing the fresh hops straight from Yakima!

Draft at NCBC. Pours a hazy burnished medium amber with a loose thin white head. Beautiful pineapple mango nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel, pineapple, mango mid palate, fading into a crisp toasty, resiny wash for the finish. Nice one.

Naked city hoptari - soft floral hop nose, some citrus and ligfhter fruits too. Apricot perhaps. A little bread and some pepper. Aroma is solid, but not amazingly aromatic. A tad subdued. Hazy golden, big bubbles form on top, looks soapy. Solidly leafy up front, nice and fruity malt base. Pale grains, bread, apricot, peach. Lingering earthy leafy hops. Balanced and drinkable with nice hop character. 7 3 7 4 14

On tap at brewpub. Golden with no head at all. Not very carbonated but that is okay. Aroma of lightly spicy hops. Flavor is up front hops and some alcohol. Finish is a nice hop bitterness. Not bad.

On tap at Naked City. 6.8% ABV according to the beer list. Pours a very clear copper with a fizzy head. The flavor is both full of soapy hops and watery. Alcohol is upfront. Unfortunately, this doesn’t taste too far off from what I imagine a fresh hop malt liquor might taste like.
