3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pint @ Naked City. Oatmeal IPA?!? Interesting. I suppose it tastes rather smooth, but nothing out of the ordinary. Much better than the Pale Rider that followed.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear golden color with white froth. Nice grainy malt, citrus aromas. Medium bodied. Big floral, pine hop flavors with a mild malty base--this one’s all about hops--good

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bronze color, with ring of head. Rather flat appearance for an IPA. Appealing aroma of crisp bittering hops (Chinook) with a prick of oaty goodness. Hard to describe, but it meshes well. Smooth, rolling, bitter hop flavor. Quenching and refreshing. An alkaline finish. A nice session ale to accompany pub food.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nose is mostly floral with some light pine and citrus notes as well. Hints of caramel, flaked oat sweetness, pale malts. Pours golden orange, thin head. The flavor is lightly sweet - hints of caramel, oats, and pale malt with floral hops, mild spiciness, and a touch of citrus. Smooth body, nice drinkability.
