Cleaer dark amber color with ivory sheen. Mild smoked meat, caramel, campfire aromas. Medium body. Decent lightly smoked caramel, dry spice, toasted bread flavors...

Draft - Naked City - Dark amber in color, hazy with a thin tan head. Big smoke aroma and good malt backing. Strong malt bread and caramel flavors. The malt was thick and this was a very terrific smoked beer. Great job Don.

Draft at NCBC. Pours a murky dark amber with a loose tan head around the edges. Big sweet smoky nose, lots happening there. A bit of residual sugar and almost a smoky sweetness like you would get with fruitwood-smoked meat. Caramel maltiness and some grassy floral notes from the hops might be creating that effect, but those notes are impossible to tease out, so who knows? Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel, campfire, fruitwood smoke, and other, subtler sweetnesses on the mid palate. Complex and interesting and delicious. Gave someone a taste and only got my glass back for a couple sips.

Melanoidin-influenced body color topped with a fluffy beige head. Wonderful smoked wood essence permeates the aromatic cloud that hovers above the glass. Solid malt backbone is enough to support the smokiness and makes for one of the more exceptionally well-balanced examples of the style. Somewhat viscous, and even syrupy, mouthfeel. Well done.

Pint @ Naked City. Tasty smoky and malty. Full-bodied and full of flavor. I wish I could find more rauchbiers.

Fuck yeah motheefuckers first rate on this motherfucker ho. Nice sweet smoked nose. Barbecue sauce on top of caramel on top of meat with teriyaki notes some green applet notes too. Nice. Pours dark amber not much in the way of head or lace. Sweet and smoked light notes of darker fruits more bbq sauce. Smooth well balanced. Good fucking stuff. Super good drinker. Actually really liking this alot.
