3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap pours amber brown with small head, ok retention. Lacings coats the glass nicely. Nose is a nice quaff of grapefruit, orange zest, light pine and enough caramel to not overwhelm. Taste has all the elements expected, enough bitterness but it leaves but I wish it had a bit more. A nice IPA.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very nice color an head retention. Quite malty which is balanced by the IPA hoppyness. Overall very drinkable, but a bit filling.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
On tap at Sticky Lips BBQ in Henrietta, NY. Poured nice with a darker tone than a normal IPA. No discernable hop smell, just slight malt aroma. Tastes the same as it smells, slightly malty with just a bitter aftertaste. One of the worst IPAs Iíve ever had, right up there with CBís Caged Alpha Monkey and Samuel Adams Latitude 48. Oh, and just a note to the brewer and/or Sticky Lips - when you advertise a tasting, you should state whether or not there will be a charge for it. $1.75 for a 4 oz taste of something I couldnít even finish is just wrong. Also, it is Starkerís IPA, not Strakerís. King Moody is turning over in his grave.

Poured a nice foamy head with some nice flowery aroma. Flavor has some malt sweetness and citrus.

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap J Ryanís Syracuse NY. Small foamy head. Good lacing. Soft carbonation, amber brown color. Medium hop start and finish. Hop flavor strengthens with time. Well balanced. Server said most clients did not prefer this ipa. Probably because it is not as strong as the other spaís in this barís large selection of ipaís. But I found nothing wrong with it.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the Red Dove Brewmasterís Brunch. A color is on the darker side for an IPA - a deep orange. The head is dense and leaves plenty of lace on the glass, just like the amber before it. The aroma reveals plenty of hops that have been included at the right times. Floral, resiny, spicy. The flavor shows off the malts in balance with the pleasant hoppiness. The brewer said he wanted this to be a sessionable IPA and I think he nailed it. The bitterness isnít tongue-scarping and the malts arenít too sweet.
