33cl bottle from the local supermarket in Harare, Zimbabwe. It poured a pale golden colour with a medium big white foamy head that settled down fast in the glass. Aroma is malty with notes of grass. The flavour is grassy with notes of malts and cereal. It has a bitter, but short aftertaste.

Light yellow lager, frothy head Sweet hay aroma. Light sweetness, light bitterness, slightly salty. Very fizzy on the tongue, light/medium bodied. A easy drinking summer sun beer.

The best of the local Capetown SA beers. More body and flavor than your typical Hansa or Castle. Smooth and refreshing with a very smooth finish. Very little aftertaste. Bought a 6 pack in a small liquor store in capetown and enjoyed drinking it on the road to Cape Point! Good with langistines and prawns!

Poured from 330mL can. Clear, pale golden yellow with quickly dissipating white head. Aroma and taste of basic malted barley.

Gul i färgen, vitt skum. Doftar svagt av malt gräs sött, fruktigt. Smakar söt malt, gräs, fruktigt, unken eftersmak. Vattnig och trist.

Sometimes when it’s German or with a German tradition it’s soooo important with the "reinheitsgebot", but there’s more to beer than being true to tradition. Bready mainstream. Not bad but not fun either.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2013 Bottle South Africa. Pours golden clear straw. Heavy carbonation and head that does not last. Aroma of straw. Nothing special. Typical pale lager.

The only interesting thing about this beer is its origin. Just another lager beer.
