Radek Kliber (3284), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 21, 2002 Not bad , refreshing had in small botlle with nice labelling . Hopy (Saaz?)might buy some more tonight in Wroclaw.... Ungstrup (11038), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 4, 2006 A golden beer with a nice off-white bubbly head. The aroma is very hoppy, so strong, that it can be smelled from a distance when poured - and quite grassy when You stick Your nose in it. The flavor is a crisp maltyness with a good presence of hops to balance the sweetness, the hops leaves a slight grassyness, but there also a touch of caramel in the background. The end is nicely bitter. But the body is a bit thin. envane (247), Evanston, Illinois, USA Apr 13, 2004 I'd call it a dortmunder/helles, but whatever. Dark golden colour, herbal hoppy aroma. Sweet malt, slightly fruity, with merely functional hops. Average. D (465), Kraków, Poland Aug 10, 2005 Can. The smell wasn’t appealling, but the taste was better. A pleasant light lager, little carbonation (supridingly enough for a Polish beer), nice end. Decent lager, maybe nothing great but definitely enjoyable. Ringo (959), Loveland, Colorado, USA Oct 12, 2004 Strange lager. At the first sip, I thought "foul, disgusting." As the beer went on, I started to get a perverse enjoyment from it. It is very fizzy, grassy, straw-like; it almost tastes like a wheat beer and I would not be surprised if they dumped some wheat into the mix. I drank mine cold and straight from the bottle, as I am imagining that I am in Poland and drinking it on a streetcorner somewhere. With that bizarre set, the beer works. And I have a strange fascination with Eastern European lagers anyway, as my ancestors came from Poland and Russia.
