COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship, an agressivly hopped India Pale Ale. Piney, grapefruit flavor with a big nose.

An IPA brewed with pale malts, generous amounts of crystal malts and an abundance of whole hops. The hops are showcased through a hop back process, which along with dry hopping, produces a piney, grapefruit and floral aroma and helps contribute to a crisp, dry finish.

12 oz bottle served in a lager glass. Pours clear amber with a moderate amount of visible carbonation. A thin coat of sediment remained bonded to the bottom of the bottle and the limited clarity of the body suggests an unfiltered beer. The white head was medium sized with excellent retention and exemplary lacing. The name led me to think this was a "session IPA" but at 6% this may not be your best noon day choice on some days. The undiminished hop load with no less than average malts for style also suggested a regular IPA. Speaking of the malts, their sweetness kicks in nicely by mid -taste, just as the bitterness is exploding, to keep it at a moderate level overall and actually nicely mild in the aftertaste. Plenty of hop complexity here but mainly of the citrus variety. The aroma feature lemons and grapefruit. Very good mouthfeel.

12oz bottle from Lowes in Hickory. Amber pour with big bubbly white-ish head. Aroma of earthy, fruity. Tastes are citrusy, light bitter, oily, little perfume, floral. Creamy light to medium palate.

Very good and smooth IPA. Lots of pine and citrus, a great mix of hops that compliment each other and almost smooth out the brew. Just enough malt to carry it out, and dry hop finish that is a perfect end. Flavorful and easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle on 6/26/15. Pours a light copper with a fluffy white head. Nose is malty, spicy, piney. Not very much citrus. Taste is resinous, hop bitter but not very citrusy. Grassy. Fine but nothing standout. Well made.

A pretty solid IPA with quite a bit of pine and citrus aroma. Less hoppy in the flavor profile, unfortunately, though a well balanced beer overall. Picked up in Asheville in 2015.

Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with a large frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus and resin hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium duration. This a solid brew.

22 oz bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a hazy golden color with a large fluffy off white head. The aroma and flavor have some herbal, earthy hops, toasted malts, moderate bitterness, grass, hints of fruit, decent ipa that is flying under the radar.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Bruisin’ Ales, 1/7/15

Aroma: This beer has an aroma of citrus and floral hops, with some bready notes as well
Appearance: Pours a murky orange color with a frothy beige head and a heavy, coating lace
Flavor: The taste is similar component-wise, lightly sweet, and medium bitter
Palate: Has a light-medium body, a solid mouthfeel, soft carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a decent IPA, it is not a particularly impressive one, nor is it a poor example. Just really defines the word decent for me. Also, for some reason, I now have the song "New Day Sunshine" stuck in my head, so there’s that.
