Pours a nice amber with orange-reddish hue. Nice maltiness base with caramel, toffee, light bread. Nice hops balance. I think this is a well crafted Amber.

beertholomeus (666) - California, USA - MAY 20, 2014
Pours a reddish amber color with a khaki head. Malt, caramel, toffee, oxidation, nut, skunk and diacytal aroma. Caramel, hop, toffee, citrus, biscuit, diacytal, oxidation and malt flavors. Medium body and carbonation. Very astringent caramel, toffee, diacytal and oxidized finish. Hopefully this was a bad bottle but a lot of unfavorable aromas and flavors here.

Rätt lätt i både kropp. Rätt vattnig i smaken, ingen direkt balans. Ingen höjdare direkt.

Not enough rich and full bodied like many other American Amber Ale. This pulls a little at a red American pale ale because of the marked hops bitterness.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a clear amber body under a dense, off-white head. Caramel malty aroma with some grassy and citrus peel-like hops. Low on bitterness, with a pleasant fruity touch and some caramel. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. A bit sweet in the end. A decent one, not a favorite though. 130807
