COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our cool brew is a highly dry-hopped ale which is full of flavor and yet eminently refreshing. We brew this seasonal beer as a tribute to the grand American traditions of summer vacations, backyard barbecues, and peaceful picnics. Our COOL BREW is perfect for picnics and pairs with carne asada and sausages.

Hazy orange color small head. Aroma is ligh hoppy. Flavor is bit hoppy, watery. Was expecting better.

brokensail (10530) - Orange County, California, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Pours a cloudy orange color with a white head. Smells of perfume, some floral hops, water, and bread. A weird apricot fruitiness, sort of sweet and sugary. The flavor is a bit watery. Lots of grass and straw, some floral hops, and a light bitterness. Sweet bread, sugar, and candied orange peel. A weird green olive off-flavor as it warms up.

Bottle. Aroma has caramel and hops. Taste is similar, with some nice grass clipping flavor in there and a crisp finish. A pretty decent beer. 6.5% alcohol.

rollinsr (365) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - OCT 24, 2012
Pours a hazy orange with a finger of off-white head. Aroma is light and hoppy with tangerine-like citrus notes. Flavor is sweet and smooth with only some light bitterness. Slight funk in the aftertaste but not enough to ruin the beer. This one is very light and citrusy without to much of the bittering hops. A good replacement for people who are sick of Blue Moon and want to branch out a bit.

buzz_and_hum (153) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 23, 2012
Pours cloudy pale brown, big fluffy head. Wafting notes of hoppiness over a distinct "beery" scent of malt and yeast. Smooth and refreshing in the mouth, but a bit thick and sticky for the "summer ale" their marketing seems to suggest. Lingerly bitter, so a lovely summer drink, but not a quaffer.

Geruch hopfig, blumig. Süß-zitrusartiger Anlauf. Mitte ebenso, floral, lieblich. Moderat bitter-trockener Abgang. Sehr ausgewogen - echt gut.

bartlebier (1480) - Belchum im Breisgau, GERMANY - OCT 16, 2012
Pleasant on the nose due to initial floral aromas, but somewhat alcoholic and tea/simcoe-bitter tasting PA with a light to medium mouthfeel. Left me with a dry mouth and an idea of what a headache might feel like after 2 of these in rapid succession.

355 ml bottle. BB De 2012. From bierzwerg.de.
Hazy amber colour with small to average sized white head. Mild fruity and floral aroma. Dark floral hops, tea-like fruits and mild bitterness in flavour. Malty body. I missed the picnic so I didn’t really find the charm in this one.

pivnizub (8724) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - OCT 14, 2012
Bottle: Hazy, light amber to amber coloured, small and stable creamy layer, sweetish fruity-malty nose with a distinctive hoppy background and a faint tinge of cough syrup; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; drier bitter-hoppy and malty finish, cough syrup again detectable in the slightly lingering hoppy aftertaste. Good, not great…

bubbleflubber (1743) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - OCT 10, 2012
Pours orange into the glass, with a wispy diminishing head that leaves light soap lacing. The nose is of circus peanuts, barnyard notes and citrus. Flavors are caramel, citrus, spices, light peppering bitters and finishes with a citrusy floral bitter. The body is medium-light and active on the palate. Not the world’s greatest complexity at work, but it is pretty tasty, even if a bit dull in the mouth.
