COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our cool brew is a highly dry-hopped ale which is full of flavor and yet eminently refreshing. We brew this seasonal beer as a tribute to the grand American traditions of summer vacations, backyard barbecues, and peaceful picnics. Our COOL BREW is perfect for picnics and pairs with carne asada and sausages.

If this was a motorbike it would be a Versper; a good little runner but is never going to break any speed records. Refreshingly sophisticated like a penguin in a suit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. Lightly hazy, peach-orange with a quarter-inch of lasting cream on top. Nose is earthy caramel popcorn and pineapple. Taste is dirty caramel, orange wood, potato chips, alcohol and resin. Light-medium body has light carbonation and is balanced.

I thought this was more of an amber ale than an APA. Very sweet, lots of caramel and toffee, and much more hops in the aroma than flavor. Not particularly inspiring...

Tap @ FG w E. Pour is a solid medium amber. No real head. Aroma is light, wet hop with some floral notes. Taste is pretty heavy, wet hops with a grainy, caramel malt undertone. Grapefruit or amarillo in the finish. Light mouthfeel. The sweet finish makes it good. Don’t understand the hate. Served in shaker.

12 ounce bottle - $2.09 at Total Wine & More in Atlanta, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours out a clear (though an initial chill haze), golden body with a frothy, white head that settles though never entirely dissipates.

Smell: Modest pale base malts with mild-mannered notes of biscuit and cracker with hoppy hints of lemon, grapefruit, and hewn grasses.

Taste: Sweetish pale malts with some accents of biscuits and waterlogged crackers with a little edge of caramel to it. Dried lemon rind, slightly grassy, slightly earthy hops with sufficient bitterness to balance things out. Becomes just a little bit astringent as you hit the dry, relatively crisp finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.

Overall: A Cool Brew? Well, it’s just OK.

Thin light tan head of fine bubbles with light carbonation. Huge pine aroma that wafts away rather quickly then leaves a sweet malty aroma with some straw and herbs. Color is a hazy golden orange. Decent bitterness up front and late swallow with a decent malt backbone in between. Some dry roasted peanuts and more hebs and flowers. Quite dry and puckering at the finish. Rather one dimensional and lacks any kind of complexity but still a decent pale with quite the bitter kick.
