Cloudy amber color, with medium seized creamy head. Good aroma of malt and hops, spicy and zesty, some cereals too. The malt flavor is a bit heavy and chewy compared to expectations, but not unheard of in American beers; the malt is quite strong, good, with some caramel; they both provide some sweetness; good hopping, bold, well balanced, with a fruity character, of sweet oranges.
Very good.

Bottle, 12oz. It’s a clear, dark golden to amber colored beer with a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma is sweetish hoppy, with lots of orange and clementine. Not sure if I think it’s nice. The same goes for the flavor, which has too much crystal malt taste. Medium body, sweetish, almost sticky. Overall, too sweet and not bitter enough. 130807

Pours a cloudy orange color with a white head. Smells of perfume, some floral hops, water, and bread. A weird apricot fruitiness, sort of sweet and sugary. The flavor is a bit watery. Lots of grass and straw, some floral hops, and a light bitterness. Sweet bread, sugar, and candied orange peel. A weird green olive off-flavor as it warms up.
