Herby, leafy hops on the aroma. Darkened copper with almost no foam at all. Taste is boozey with flavors of nuts, herbs, sage and some biscuit malt. There is a very subtle fruity flavor hiding in the back of the palate. Overall, not as good as I had expected. Nevertheless, it is a well done brew with moderately complex flavors. Iíd give this a B+ rating.

This golden brown beer pours with very little head. It is surprisingly not too bitter for a beer with this name. It has a fruity almost sweet taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Strong aroma is quite hoppy, grassy and hay-ish rather than evergreen, with hints of malt and grapefruit. It pours a slightly hazy dark copper with a fairly thick light light yellowish tan head. Mouth-filling, lip-smacking flavor has a strong, somewhat bitter hoppy core and notes of grapefruit, malt and caramel. Smooth texture is rough around the edges, and firm tingle leaves a hoppy, bitter finish with a caramel hint.

Poured from bomber into a snifter glass. Appearance: Dark orange almost red in color. Pour left it with a good finger and a half head on it. Head was tight white bubbles. Lasted a little while but gave way to a ring around the glass with good head lacing. Good amount of carbonation. Aroma: I pick up huge hop aromas right at the beginning. You can get the piney, citrusy notes very easily. I loved the smell and was impressed. Taste: First thing is bitter like a sour candy! Itís powerful but enjoyable at the same time. The first sip is always surprising. A mix of citrus fruits especially grapefruit run all through this. After taste was just perfect for me. Lasts the right amount of time to get you ready for the next swig. Note: I noticed as it warmed the flavors stayed around but the sweetness became more enhanced. I really enjoyed that mix with the bitterness of the hops. Kind of like going from white grapefruit juice to ruby red in comparison. Verdict: I really really like this beer. Itís fast becoming a favorite. I grabbed 3 bombers when it came out and Iím glad I did. Iíll be working this into a regular rotation as long as I can get it. Great for a last summer drink. It does everything I like about an Imperial IPA while bringing the bonus of the sweetness as the beer warms. Grab a bottle and try it! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber from ABC. Murky amber pour with a thin off-white and light lacing. Aroma is caramel, bread, pine and peachy citrus. Tastes are nice crisp apricot, floral and soft bitterness. Well balanced with sweet caramel malts. Not crazy complex, but good at what it does.

Was lucky enough to get this on tap at the brewery. One of Napa Smithís best beers. Strong floral flavors with a small bite.

Typical amber colored DIPA body with a two finger thick head and mild residual carbonation. The smell was very mild for a DIPA, with the hops coming across as piney, floral, herbal, and earthy. The taste was quite bitter, with the same piney-earthy-herbal hop profile up front, and some spice in the finish. The malt was evident as a simple and light sugary taste. The overall flavor profile reminded me lot of a strong tea with some sweetness. The beer drank much more easy than the 9.2% ABV it contained, and there wasnít any warming or burn at all. This beer did not start very promising, but delivered the hops in the end.

Bomber and draft from Imbibe Wine. Nose is slightly musty, citrus hops, oaky wood with hints of chardonnay, and caramel. Hazy copper orange with a medium cream colored head. Flavor is bigtime wood and wine with a moderate bitterness and a hint of sweetness. Very mellow BADIPA.
