Had from bottle for breakfast at broadway cellars. Very cloudy dark orange with thin white head. Thick. Pine and hoppy aroma. Simple taste. A monster IPA. Almost syrupy. Good way to start off a Saturday

Bottle. Pours a very cloudy brown color with a smallish white head on it. Nose is quite hop forward with some very bitter resiny hops dominating and making for a very bitter aroma. Taste is also decently bitter, though it tastes a little old, like the hops have turned a bit. Decent, but seems a little too aged.

(Bottle). I must start by saying: Fuck Napa Smith’s commercial description! Certainly this is a good beer ..! but not like their description. The hops are prominent, but not extreme, they have a nice mellow tone that fits well with the malt flavor. Bitterness is soft and subdued, in a very nice way. This is not an extreme hop bomb, but rather a well-balanced IPA. The taste is sweet malt with hints of caramel, overripe fruit and figs mixed with hops. The aftertaste is a bit oily bitterness. What I really like about this beer is the subdued tone in both the smell and the taste!
