beer 1, at the Austin Saucer .. pours a hazy honey amber .. low head but awesome lacing .. . light bitterness for an ipa .. . pretty tame effort, not that enjoyable .. . . The sound that it makes is a recording of a turbine engine played backwards..

Draft. Pours a nice copper color with a decent head. Herbal nose and taste. Some good, bitter, herbal hops, but also just a little too grassy. Probably not something I’ll get again.

Orange, with a big white head. Smells weird - like some sort of artificial orange and caramel. Tastes OK, but is really heavy and sweet as it warms. Kind of a struggle to finish. Not really substantial enough to be a DIPA, not really drinkable to be a session IPA, it exists in some sort of bizarre netherworld...

22oz bottle from Lee’s Discount Liquors
Appearance: Cloudy amber with a big frothy off-white and lots of sticky lacing
Aroma: Caramel, bready and pine
Taste: Sweet caramel, bready, pine with a dry finish
Sweet, but a nice solid IPA.

22oz bomber. Pours a very hazy medium brown with a thick head and good lacing. Aroma of earthy/piny hops along with some toffee malt. The earthy hops come through strongly on the taste with fairly high bitterness throughout. A nice caramely backbone supports the hops. Not fruity like I like most of my IPA’s but a good one nonetheless. Not sure if it is something I would get again but it was a pleasure to drink.

Beautiful in the glass. A very mirky copper color. Superb off-white head wth heavy lacing. The aroma is a bit of a turn off with some buttery nut coming through more than anything. The flavor is malty, bitter, and foody like light, diluted peanut butter. It touches the palate cool but feels like its leaving a mixed residue and as such this beer carries a mixed bag. Yes, I said, and I quote, "carries". What, you’ve never heard of a beer carrying bags before? Well, welcome to the new millinium. Beers carry bags now as thousands of organisms have been doing since before you were born.

Potent nose with a disappointing, vegetal flvor. Good amount of bitterness but definitely not something I’d purchase again

Draught at highland bar and grill, bham. I was so pleasantly surprised by this beer. Dark golden pour with a medium off white head. Aromas of sweet evergreen and a hint of yeastiness. Nice semisweet malts and great American hop profile without going for the big ibu’s.
