Pours cloudy, orange-amber with a short, yellow-tan head.
Scent is slightly tart caramel malt....bread.
Flavour of toffee malt, bready..
A little sour, musty, bitter finish.
Ok, but a slightly odd taste.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a typically carbonated hazy light red brown colored body. The aroma was malty and musty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish malty aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of hops and malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Aroma of alcohol, hops, mild caramel malt. Hazy redish amber appearance. Flavor has too much going on up front. Sour, bready malt, finishes bitter and lingers far too long. Donít see this as a summer brew at all,..may have been a bad batch.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
22 oz bottle The ale poured a cloudy orange with a frothy head and lacing. The aroma was bread like. There is a malty toffee taste that is different. Average carbonation with no noticeable bitterness. The finish was clean with mild sweetness of carmel malt. Not enough hops for my taste.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAR 20, 2013 A pretty good red! Smells a little sweet and fruity, with a bit of hoppyness. Taste is very much the same, creamy and sweet with a hoppy finish. Had on tap at the brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very hazy copper/brown pour with little to no head. Sweet scent, indistinguishable and watery. Medium mouth feel, a little tingly. Pretty light amber with high malt content. Finish is a little bitter and also watery. Somewhat bland but sweet/very malty amber. Definitely not on par with the other offerings Iíve had from this brewery.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a dark amber with a thin white ring. Aroma of bread and dark fruits. Very sweet on the nose. Sweet malts and toasted nuts dominate the flavor. A hint of spice. Not very balanced. Not any notable hops. Very malty. Hints of caramel. Strange tart but sweet finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Moderate malt aromas of roasted and caramel, light herbs and dough for the yeast, with hints of date and brown sugar. Head is small, frothy off-white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy, light red/brown with some tiny particles. Flavor starts lightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, watery with a lively carbonation. A nice Amber Ale with a little extra oomph behind it.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Pours a very hazy amber color with a small head. Sour in the nose, which is unexpected. If itís hoppy, itís some of the worst hoppiness Iíve ever experienced.
