Bottle. Dark amber, beige head leaving a lot of lacing. Aroma: opens buttery and acidic, after that fruit, berries and caramel. Taste: malty, caramel, licorice, red berries and raspberry candy, grassy hops, medium bitter, dry finish containing some resin. Nice and drinkable in the summer, feels quite light, but initially has kind of an infected note I could have done without.

Bottle- Pours an amber color with a decent head and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel sweetness, hint of dark fruit and pine. Taste of roasted malt, caramel sweetness with a mild bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body, smooth and decent carbonation. Decent beer, but nothing I would go out of my way for.

Bottled at Bishop’ Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Hazy amber, small head. Salted fruits and overripe grapefruit. Mid sweet with medium body and clean rounded mouthfeel. Salty with xome caramel. Mid bitter finish. Indistinct.

Tap. Amber with small cream head. Smells a little grape fruity and floral work a light piney more and light toastiness. Maybe a hint of spice. Fairly syrupy sweet initially and throughout with some hop character coming in too. Hard mouth feel that mellows out. Both the bitter and the sweet linger.

Copper and clear. Small off-white head. Malty nose and slightly oxidized. The hops are there but not in front. Caramelly and grainy malts. Sweet melanoidin malt with caramel. Peachy flavours with some grass and licorice. Bitter finish. Not particularly good in my opinion.

"Napa Smith’s summer brew with a big hoppy flavor and 7.2 percent alcohol." Summer brew? Really? This was an over the top malt bomb, with caramel dominating. Very Heavy and rich, not really a hot weather drinker. No "big hoppy flavor". The 7.2 was very evident, though. Not bad, but clearly not my thing.
