3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle. Aroma is fruity and m.alty. Flavor is bready toffee malty with touches of citrus hops. Finish is bitter but with decent residual sweetness and maltiness that suggest an even stronger beer than it is. Overal devent but not dry enough.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From the bomber this poured an orange-ish body with a fair sized ecru head that collapsed in chunks and left clumps of lace on the sides of the glass. The aroma had a caramel maltiness covered by pine resin, grapefruit, and a touch of zest. The flavor of this medium bodied ale began with the caramel malt and a bit of grain followed by more hop bitterness than hop flavor. The finish was dry, mildy bitter, with a touch of earthiness. Okay.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Kegs and Barrels. Pours a rich medium amber with a thin white head. The aromas are pine, grapefruit, grass. The mouthfeel is dry, bitter and thick with a heavy body. This beer is loaded with great hops for us hopheads! Really liked this one!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap. Slightly hazy amber pour with minimal head. Caramel malt and bread on nose and taste. Slight citrus hop but overall a little off-putting. Just okay.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle from Liquor Loft. Floral hop aroma. Taste is caramel malt and on the bready side - but balanced well with background citrus hop bitters. Tastes more like a pale - sweetwater 420 to be specific. But more going on here - good medium texture with a fair amount of carbonation. Nice.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce. Orange body with strong malt character. Sweetness too much for IPA. Slight metallic taste follows.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a really hazy golden orange with a small beige head that recedes quickly to a thin cap and some spotty lacing.
Really sweet aroma but not with a ton of citrus, itís more dominated by the sweet malts. Little bit of lemons as well.
Taste is even sweeter with more malts than anything. There is a hint of citrus hops but not much. Some bitterness in the finish but not completely hoppy.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation, but the bitterness is a little too much for the relative flavor.
A decent beer but subpar for an IPA. Not really up to the standards for the style.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle courtesy of JohnCoctosin. Served in a tulip.
Pours a clear dark orange color with a moderate off-white head that is fairly fizzy but sticks around for awhile, leaving behind some spotty lacing. The nose is malt with some very faint citrus character; mostly bread, though. The flavor is all bread and no hops, with a bit of oxidation there as well. Body is medium and chewy without any bitterness. Not a fan.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Classic west coast style IPA characterized by fruity resiny aroma. Medium mouthfeel delivers ample malt backbone to carry the aggressive bitter finish. Ends with a long bitter tail and lightly sweet maltiness. Pours cloudy amber with a slight white head. Little lacing.
