Bottle from Systemet. Must have been defect. Very cloudy with a weak head. Some citrus and resin in the aroma but also turpentine. Very sour taste with almost no bitterness. Undrinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice little taste bomb this. Here we have tons of hops, malty sweetness and a nice bitter finish to wrap things up. I could drink this all day long if I could find it in Norway (Bought at Systembolaget next to NK in Stockholm).

tfredvik (1077) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 25, 2014
Clear, dark amber body with a creamy, light-brown head that laces the glass excellently and never gets any thinner than a healthy layer. Strong toasted aroma that is very far from West Coast, IMHO. This is a very malty brew, with tons of caramel, cookies and brown sugar, and the overripe fruity notes play the 2. violin. The malt wins the flavour as well, with toasted notes, caramel and even some malt extract in the back. Also overripe grapefruit and faint traces of mint. Moderate sweet taste with a moderate plus bitter, reasonably long-lasting finish. Pleasant mouthfeel, creamy , smooth and soft, mid-bodied. An unusually malty but nice IPA.

Bottle. It pours an unclear, dark orange body under a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is a bit sweetish, with piney, grassy hops and some citrus fruit. It’s too sweet on the palate I think, but with nice fruity flavors and citrus peel. Medium to full body, soft carbonation and a mostly bitter and citrusy finish. Nothing impressive going on here, but it ain’t bad either. 140418
