First beer for me from this brewery. Nice looking IPA with a large head. Lots of hoppiness with plenty of grapefruit taste especially. I like this, would definetally buy this again.

Flaska systembolaget. Bärnstensfärgad vätska. Frän och ganska kraffull doft av barr, hö och torkad frukt. Viss fruktighet. Påtaglig bitterhet i smaken med tallskott, sirapslimpa och torkad frukt.

Aroma is sweet and malty. A pretty heavy sweetness even. Taste is as sweet as a mouthful of hay together with over ripe canned tangerines

Bottle from the Systembolaget Hansacompagniet, Malmo. Poured a hazy reddish amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is bretty sour citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sour with a crisp refreshing brett yeast light hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. The most sour bretty "IPA" I ever had, but rather drinkable all the same.

(Bottle) Amber colour with lasting, frothy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with caramel, orange peel, apricot marmalade, a touch of resin and floral, citric hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, orange peel, resin, apricot marmalade, grapefruit and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Fairly bitter, but quite well balanced with a good dose of caramel malt. Nice one.

I like it, Amber clear with white thick head..perhaps a bit sweet but I with a full malty aftertaste. Not bad at all and I like that it is not as hoppy as most west coast IPAs, it is perhaps in that respect not so west coast. Almost reminds me of a boston ale...

(35 cl bottle from Systembolaget; BBD: October 2014) Interesting to taste an IPA brewed by Don Barkley but a bit peculiar that it has been revied only by Scandinavian raters. Pours a semi-clear amber with two finger tan head. Decent retention and beautiful lace. Aroma is resiny with perhaps some leafy, earthy hints of hops and a note of candy sugar. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium to full body and a lingering finish. Flavour is rather sweet for what they call a west coast IPA. This must be pretty old school if so. I’m much more partial to the dry, hop-forward IPA’s and it seems to me there is not much aroma in this one disappointingly. Could be due to age also.

335,5cl bottle from Systembolaget, Strömstad. Pours hazy amber with an off-white head. Fairly malty aroma with notes of over ripe fruits, caramel, pine and hints of citrus. Not very fresh, but still fairly okay. Medium sweet with fruity and malty flavours and a moderate bitter finish. Quite okay, but hardly anything to write home about.

Inte provat en hel drös av Napa Smith direkt men detta är nog allt favoriten. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
