Napa Smith Wheat beer has a light and clean taste that is characteristic of this type of style. We have added special ingredients to accentuate the aromas beyond the hops and malt to insure a spicy, floral aroma with a light crisp finish. Serve this with a grilled piece of fresh fish or pork chops.

Bottle. Clear yellow, no head. Fruity aroma with a little sour. Carbonation seems high and taste is mainly sour fruit. Not my type of wheat beer.

I had it recently on tap. The beer had a very pronounced butter/toffee flavor and smelled like canned peas . Diacetyl and DMS are major flaws in a modern brewery. Not good.

bottle. Pours a clear gold with white fizzy head. Aroma has hints of citrus and faint grainy wheat, malt. Flavor is is much the same, very light. Watery mouthfeel with fizzy carb, almost seems to have hints of ginger....not a fan but wouldnt turn it down...very simple wheat brew.

Lemon nose with black pepper hints, not strong. Clear amber, thin head. Lemon flavor. Astringent, slightly vegetal, fizzy. Weak, no character. Typical low end american wheat.

Pour is a hazy blonde with a large with head. Aroma is a nice bready/wheat. Flavor is where this one loses it. Some dull malts with a little lemon zest. Finish is watery and thin. Boring old wheat ale.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear yellow gold with a small frothy off white head. The aroma is honey and wheat. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop and citrus. Easy to drink, a decent wheat ale from Napa Smith.
