1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly cloudy straw yellow with minimal white head. Very light aroma of wheat and ginger. Slight hops. Mostly funk. Taste is lightly sweet. Very slight wheat taste. Again, mostly funk. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and almost zero finish. Overall, not very good. Would be a good lawnmower beer but not at 9 bucks per 4 pack. I won’t be buying this again.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
a not so great attempt, with lots of lemon rind character. at first i thought maybe it was perle hops in the aroma, but the taste is very lemony. the hops are a bit rough too, maybe with the minerality of the water. might work well with certain sushi or seafood appetizers, but not my kind of sessional drinking beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted on 10/8/11 from a 12oz bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow with a thick and pillowy pure white head that slowly recedes to bubbly lace. The nose is bitter, herbal noble hops, with a spicy yeast character. The flavor is wheaty up front, with a ton of herbal bitter hops, and the same spicy character that I got from the nose. The body is light with lively carbonation, and a long, herbal, spicy, and bitter finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Central Market. Pours a clear golden color with a light white head. Has kind of a wheaty smell with a powdered sugar nose. Different. Flavor was dry, wheaty and sweet grains. Easy finish.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
bottle - Pours lightly hazy gold with a very small white head and an aroma of spicy yeast and wheat. It tastes light and sweet with a touch of citrus. There’s a slight hint of citrus and a little bitterness in the finish. Okay brew.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light yellow and crystal clear with tons of carbonation. Aroma is mostly of fresh straw and a touch of citrus. Distant taste of bread and not much of a traditional wheat beer taste. Not a lot of "taste" is there actually - it’s a fairly light wheat beer.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
8/28/11. 12oz bottle. Barely cloudy light orange pour with floating chunks and a small khaki head that fades. Very plain and light aroma that hints at lemon peel. Very plain grainy flavor with a weird herbal aspect, almost like Italian food, with a touch of lemon peel. This is almost like a horrible saison for some reason. Blech.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
TPSA. Color is a dark amber -- very clear, it is apparently filtered. (Overfiltered.) There is a slight, fruity nose to it, but nothing like a hefe or some other strong wheat beer; there is some spice on the nose, courtesy of a little ginger added. Ginger on the tongue as well, hops bitterness, and very dry -- no sweetness at all, which is fine. It’s all right, but nothing really says ’wheat beer’ to me.
