Aroma: cocoa, roasted dark malts. Appearance: black color and brown head. Taste: medium herbal bitterness, coffee, cooca, roasted dark malts, ashy, quite dry. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, roasted finish. Overall: Really decent Porter, cocoa should be more intensive.

Extremely bitter Imperial Porter. Very roasted, full of dark chocolate, dark fruits and molasses. Smooth and pleasant.

Bottle. Sensoric. Pitch black with small, light brown, densed head. Poor head retention and medicore lacing. Medium roasted malts aroma - dark chocolate with nice accents of dark fruits - mainly plums. Taste is medium bitter, semi-dry. Medium to full body, oily texture, average carbonation, finish is semi-dry and bitter. In overall not the best imperial porter I’ve ever drunken, but keeps the level.

Very dark brown with a thin beige head. Smells of cherries, oxidized fruit and a bit of chocolate. Tastes like caramelized cherries, coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted malts and chocolate. Smooth texture with a bitter-sweet (mostly sweet) sherry aftertaste.

33cl bottle at our holiday home in Travemünde. Pitch black with a small tan head. Medium to full body with low to moderate carbonation. Somewhat sweet with nice bitter tones. Coffee, cacao, malts, caramel, chocolate, ripe dark fruits and spices. Nice!

(33 cl bottle in wine glass.) Pours rather dark with a finger head and the aroma is quite shy. I was expecting/hoping for more chocolate or/and coffee. But this is basically a regular porter to me. I’d say the chocolate is what comes through a bit but overall more just a decent roasted imperial porter.
