33 cl bottle.
Pours dark red, almost black color with a huge beige head. The commercial description is quite accurate, lots and lots of coffee and cocoa here, some caramel, malts and dark fruit notes can be found also, faint molasses on the background. Flavor is malty and cocoa powder dominant, espresso, dry dark chocolate, caramel and some vanilla also. Very fluffy and dry palate, dark chocolate and cocoa on the lingering aftertaste. Excellent.

Bottle @ dEnk’s, thanks! Black pour, solid thick tan head. Aroma of coffee, ash, tobacco, cacao, licorice, burnt malts and engine oil. Flavor is very bitter, roasted, dry and with licorice and spicy. Huge body and quite in your face.

Bottle @ home. Aroma is roasty malty chocolate, coffee, molasses, mocca and more. Flavour is big roasty chocolate, coffee. A bit onesided in the flavour. Still nice though.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap @ Beer Temple. Black color. Dense beige head. Aroma’s: sweet malts, very herbal/spicy. I don’t get any of the coffee or cocoa, and on top of that I sense a bit of brett and a slight (fruity) sourness. Flavor is moderate sweet, herbal, with hints of sour. Medium bodied. Long finish of heavy roast, moderate to full bitter. Not very good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled, BB 09 14, large sample. Dark color, big frothy brown head. Aroma of spicy and earthy coffee, roasted malt, licorice. Chocolate is not that present, just in the background a bit. Bit bitter in taste, quite some coffee again. More chocolate now. Lots of carbonation, which disrupts the smoothness I miss. Not the best example, should be much more creamy for me. Carbonation kills it.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at Mikkeller and Friends, Copenhagen
Black color with beige creamy head, not persistent. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and cigarette butts, ashes. Lean mouthfeel; too much roasted malt and burnt malts, and too little chocolate; very ashy; some coffee; correct bitterness, with a milky impression in the final.
Grossly unbalanced towards the burnt stuff.
