Draft. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average frothy light brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth slick texture and flat carbonation. Medium toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft brew for style.

4oz on tap at Ei8ht Ball. Dark brown color. Thin khaki head, leaving loose lace. Dark fruit, some woody tannin, mild roast, vinous character. Medium-plus body. Smooth, kind of soft, moderate-strength carbonation. Lightly slick texture. Sort of a tart taste, moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter. An alright sour porter, not sure if that’s intentional or not (not labeled as sour on the menu)

Draft to taster at Ei8ht Ball. Pours dark brown to black in color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor had light roast, dark chocolate, some dark fruit, a slight sour character, thinner than American porters, not something I would repeat.
