beighe head with orange haze (!) that disappears quickly with lacing. coffee coloured. aroma of coffeee, mocha, chocolate and smoked malt. taste of liquorice, smoked malts, vanilla and coffee. after a while the habanero chili really comes through, but never dominates too much. quite dense mouthfeel, i imagine in part due to the pumpkin. the high abv is well hidden. bottle 33 cl

Bottle 33cl, a dark beer. Nose is intense on dark malt and smoked notes, vegetable touch. Beer is very oly, intense sweet and roasted notes, body is on smoked, vegetal and alcohol like. Very intense, dark chocolate, dry finish with intense grassy bitterness. Finish is peppery which grows on chilli and quite spicy then.

Petroleum beer. Strong black color, strong aromas, strong taste and strong mouthfeel. This beer is STRONG. Aromas: Chocolate, coffee but dry fruits and some spices as well. Taste: Very intense bitterness modulated by the sweetness. For me it is too bitter. Mouth-feel: full body, high carbonation and a very special hot sensation because of the chili. The high alcohol degree is hidden by the strong mouth-feel and taste. This beer is a beast. Very special and high quality but too strength for me.

Pitch black color with little light brown head. Aroma has lots of habanero chile, also pumpkin, roasted malts and dark chocolate, with a coffee backbone. Taste has lots of chocolate, with pumpkin, roasty/toasty malts and some coffee with a woody background. Aftertaste is bitter with a marked spicy chilli finish to it. Very balanced, pumpkin is not overwhelming and aftertaste is not insanely spicy. Different and really really good.

Bon, on peux toujours rêver

Botella.

Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Smooth dark malts with a spicy licorice streak. Nice fruity tang. Touch of dark chocolate and a trace of coffee. Spicy dry finish. Tasty, even a little intense.

Bottle to snifter. Looks good; a mostly opaque dull dark (almost black) coffee with darker beige lacing. Smells solid; dark malt, bitter chocolate, roast, pumpkin, and a bit spice. Tastes like it smells with a fairly bitter medium to medium full-bodied mouthfeel. Good, not great; thin for the abv.
