Ungstrup (22904) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 29, 2008
Draft at Stockholm Beer Festival. An amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, yeast, hops, and malt as well as alcohol that leaves a burn on the tongue, before a dry bitter finish sets in.

(On tap) Clear, warm amber golden with a yellowish head. Fat, peachy aroma with sweetish burned caramel. Quite full-bodied with plenty of burned caramel and overripe fruit. Very subdued bitterness. A very decent....Barleywine! 120908

From tap. Pours clear and golden amber with a lacing tan head. Aroma is fruity and dense hoppy with a mild caramel note coming through. Flavour is smooth hoppy and fruity on top of a solid caramel malty bse. Sweet and hoppy lingering finish. Quite tasty.

omhper (15594) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 22, 2008
Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Hazy ruby, dense creamy head. Layers of lychee-like hops stapled upon a solid roasty malty body. Quite salty with a touch of resin, making it less seemless and velvetty than the "?". Some caramel followed by a long salty bitterness. Very hop accented. Not as great as "?", but still really good.

Draught@EBF2008. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is grass, hops, peach and mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is much the same. Quite a lot of alcohol and peach in the flavour. Very sweet, but yet quite wellbalanced. Bigtime bittery finish.
