Draft @ Bishops Arms Järntorget, Göteborg. Couleur dorée pâle, col blanc fin. Arôme est vraiment subtile et original dans l’usage de la reine des prés qui ajoute un bouquet somptueux fleuri, herbacé, de pétale avec une pointe de douceur. Le tout rappelle ce côté sassafras utilisé dans les root beer américaines. Palais présente un fleuri superbe avec ce côté sureau, bourgeon, pétale. Le tout conserve un petit côté doux avec un côté malté caramel arrivant en fin de bouche. Une expérience unique qui fait penser aux grandes régions sauvages et prairies et sous-bois du nord de la Suède

Sample at SMÖF 2012. A bit hazy golden beer with a small white head. Herbal, floral, fruity, hoppy, grassy and citrus aroma. Hoppy, floral, grassy flavour with some bitterness.

Draft. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has strong notes of spices - odd. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and lots of spices, leading to a dry finish. Weird on my palate.

ABV: 7.2% (Program) Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, mint, tea, band-aid, herbal. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120928]

Poured hazy, with a golden color and a lacing off-white head. Grass, hay, green apples, in the somewhat floral aroma. Somewhat bitter taste with a bit of caramel sweetness.

Hazy golden color, fairly big lasting cream colored head. Sweet, floral, summer meadow, weeddy flower scent after rain, bubblegum, curious and unusual, though not bad, scent. Sweet, herbal, floral, sugary, flower stems, some red berries, dew or rain infused meadow character taste. Sweet, herbal, bubblegum, floral aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, frairly moderate co2 level. Pretty low bitterness.
Since "Älgört/Älggräs" (Meadowsweet) was a farily common herb to use in flavoring of beer in sweden before hops became common this is an extra interesting beer for me. I now feel I want to pick some and make a beer of my own in this "old style" Swedish beer.
Uncommon but very nice and interesting scent and taste indeed.
After a while getting used to the first impressions I pick up loads of cinnamon on both and scent and taste that I didn’t get at first.

Hazy honey color, fluffy white head. Floral, perfume, sassafras, fresh and nice scent. Fresh, perfume, floral, summer meadow after some rain and then sun taste. Floral, sassafras aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Very very nice, especially the scent, and I feel again I want to brew something similar for a homebrew.

From tap @Borefts 2012. Near clear gold colored. A finger og white head. Lemon zesty nose. Some herbs, some mild spices and hint of sulphur. Crisp citrussy and spicy flavor. Some hard to pin-point herbal notes. Light sweet malt body. Balancing bitterness. Fresh herbal and citrussy endnotes.
