ClubGonzo (3946) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 23, 2014
Tap sample at CBC 2014. Dark clear bronze-hued mahogany body, medium creamy light beige head. Aroma is tons of peat, wood, smokey grains and hints of chlorine (probably a side effect of all the intense peat tones), caramel and hints of burnt sugar. Taste is earthy leaves, smoke, wood, peat and hints of botter herbs, burnt grass and burnt sugar. Full body, medium to high carbonation. A bit too bush-smokey for me in all its peaty glory, but this is really a beer for all the Laphroig lovers out there.

jookos (1986) - FINLAND - MAY 16, 2014
Tap @ CBC14-red. Reddish brown. Beef jerky, bbq woody charcoals. Medium bodied. Well smoked, peaty, like an Islay whiskey. Feels almost overpowering peaty right now. But enjoyable nontheless.
