Dark amber color with a firm lacing head.
The beer really had an incredible aromaof smoke, Islay whiskey and salt. Not as much smoke in the taste as in the aroma. Licorice, malt and a some nuts. The beer felt balanced. Aftertaste was long and quite dry.
A great smoked beer! Frovigalning (488), , Sweden

It had allot of smoke flavour but it didn’t feel like it had been filtered through an old hunting cabin. Felt more like it had been poured along the side of some smoked ham.
It poured a dark red liquid with a very small white foam. Heavy smell of smoke. Smooth mouthfeel, medium body, low bitterness. Taste of smoked ham, wood and salt. DrBeer (777), Danderyd Stockholm, Sweden

This is pretty hardcore stuff, with a very intense aroma of Vosene shampoo/kerosene/tarmac and then a very peaty smoke flavour really dominating the maltiness. I have the ABV down as 5.7%. fonefan (12484), VestJylland, Denmark
