3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at The Bishop Arms Vasagatan, pours a hay dark copper / amber, with a medium beige head. Aroma of butterscotch malts, some caramel and subdued resinous hops. Flavour of dry caramel malts, resinous hops, and some woody notes. Very well-balanxed, with a thicker malt profile than most pale ales. A little too malty for my taste, but still highly drinkable. Good stuff.

Draught. Hazy amber liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, biscuit, toffee, British yeast esters, flowers, bread and pine. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of bread, toffee and citrus. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Ok, a bit one dimensional.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour is slightly hazed dark orangish amber with a light tan head. Nose is very hoppy and oiliy. Doughy butery note underneath it all. Taste is same with a light lingering bitterness if the finish. Hops are strong, bitterness is kept in check, falls off slightly in the finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: The smell is mainly citric, ripe oranges, but also some soap associations.
Appearance: The beer is clear amber, has a high off-white head that leaves good lacing.
Taste: The taste has much malt, bread, toffee, some lemon juice and peel. Slightly chemical.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, rather soft and somewhat oily, a dry finish.
Overall: Seem to have been brewed properly, but does not respond 100% to mine nose and tongue.
Note: Cask at De Klomp. Reviewed 2011-05-07.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottled, rated 2011-07-07) Clear copper with a smallish, lasting head. Caramely-malty, grapefruity and exotic-fruity, perfumy nose. Nutty-hoppy flavor with grapefruit, and some stuffiness. Almost medium body, balanced CO2. An easy and quite nice APA. Slightly stuffy, and closer to British, than US hoppiness.

Tap @ Bishops Folkunga.
Hazy dark amber with a short off white froth leaving some lacings.
Aroma Has caramel and lots of piney and a bit floral hops. Theres some kind of vegetable note. Cucumber?
Taste is caramel and some toffee, but dry and not especially sweet, with a good piney hop punch. Theres also some oranges, apricots and something berry like.
Medium to slight weak body with lots of agressive bubbles.
Decent but not like hurra.
