Hazy amber, moderate cream colored, small-bubbled head. Nose is rather hoppy, lots of grapefruit bitterness with some earth and a bit of stale warehouse/cardboard. High attenuation accents flavors of tea leaves and grassy hop, moderately dank with misplaced bubblegum/sugar mid palate. Bit oily for the moderate body, but refreshingly bitter throughout.

Draught (handbottled, thanks Kike!). Hazy deep golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is spruce, fruity and grassy notes aslong with some sweet maltyness as well. Flavour is crisp maltyness meeting a rather fruity and floral sweetness. Balanced, but rather bitter for being an APA.

RexTalionis (2337) - FINLAND - JUL 12, 2011
On tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Poured dark orange in colour with off-white head. Fruity and slightly grassy aroma. Flavour is quite bitter at first with some yeasty notes as well. The taste evens out more in the end, yet quite grassy bitterness mostly in aftertaste. Felt like quite heavy to drink.

Draught @Pikkulintu 9/7/2011. Poured slightly hazy dark golden with a white head. Aroma was very fruity, blood orange and citrus fruit mainly. Flavor was malt and hops, citrus and apricot. Quite bitter, almost slightly harsh finish. Nice APA.

Draft @ Akkurat. Rather strange beer. It’s kind if watery, but still quite challenging Lots of notes from the forrest, resin, pine needels etc. Dry.

On tap @Macche, very pleasant beer. Amber colour, medium carbonation, hoppy and roasted malt noticeable especially the more you drink the beer. Easy to drink! So good.

mile (2874) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 7, 2011
Draught at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Light amber, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, tropical fruitiness, some caramel, grapefruit and piney hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, sharp piney hoppyness, some caramel. Finish is average, malty and lightly dryish, some caramel, sharp piney hoppyness. Nice fruit aroma but flavor has too much sharp hoppyness, aroma and flavor are not in balance.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20110707) The beer poured deep golden and quite clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had a lot of exotic fruits and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, malts, saltiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bready and bitter. The fruitiness was too dominating.
