A rater’s gotta do what a rater’s gotta do, so gimme your worst, HG! The Bäver pours a medium brown body with an off-white head that leaves a decent amount of lacing on my glass. The aroma is strong and dry, it’s quite herbal with barnyard-ish notes. Not that kind of wild fermented bretty barnyard, it’s more like sticking your nose into the fur of some sweaty animal that hasn’t bothered to take a swim in the nearest river for quite some time. The animal notes are very present in the strong flavour as well, and it also creates a dry, furry moderate bitterness that grows into the aftertaste. A very strange brew, but I liked it. But I think I could have done without the beaver burps that haunted me for the rest of the evening.

Sample at Haand. Pours an inviting amber with white head. Aroma is malty, but with a kick of bever gland that is not too pleasant. Taste is sweet at first aftertaste is lingering and not too pleasant, of bever gland. Challange someone to a pint... I am sure this would be a very nice beer without the bever gland, but it is what makes it really special.

Tap @ CBC14-yellow. Amber. Very... beavery nose. Like smelling a stuffed animal, sort of moosey, wildlife like. Very confusing. Caramels, light medium body. The strangest ones of this festival.

Urinaldraft @ Borefts, awesome! Aroma is musky malt with a touch of damp forest and some floral and fruity hops. Flavour is fresh hops, some pine/forest notes and a weird finish which is probably the glandstuff. Hmmm.
