Those same malts dance on the tongue, giving a sweet, perfumy taste when you sip. The alcohol is well hidden but a nice warming hint comes through at the end. Salty, sourish aroma, little ammonium and liquorice. Flavor is salty liquorice, wood, burned malts and little alcohol. Mildly vinous. Medium bodied, average palate. Good salty porter. Rosted malt aroma with notes of licorice, coffee, black chocolate, and dark fruit. Taste of roasted malt, licorice, dark fruit, raisins, coffee, and dark chocolate, blueberries and a hint of strawberry. Creamy and full bodied mouthfeel.
