Colore nero con una spettacolare schiuma molto cremosa.Ottimo aroma di malto tostato, vaniglia, luppolo.In bocca è morbida, ben maltata, dolce, molto ben miscelati il malto torrefatto, il caffè, la vaniglia,il lievito.Finale ben bilanciato. Grande birra!

EBF 2008. Black with a lasting light brown head. Licorice and citrus hops in the aroma. Sweet and smooth licorice and roasted malt flavour.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2008-12-13) Almost black. Clear. Small tan coloured and quite quickly disappearing white head. Roastedness, coffee, chocolate and hops in nose. Full bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Coffee (with milk), roastedness, bitterness, some dark chocolate. herbs and hint of fruitiness in taste. Roastedness and bitterness in dry aftertaste.

Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. Subtle aroma of classy roasted malts. Those same malts dance on the tongue, giving a sweet, perfumy taste when you sip. The alcohol is well hidden but a nice warming hint comes through at the end. A very good porter.

Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, milk chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long to average duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily and smooth, carbonation is soft. (On tap) Dark, opaque brown with an orange hue and a beige head. Aroma of sweetish roasted malts. Quite full-bodied with sweet roasted malt. Has a light malt bitterness. 140908

Draught at EBF. Almost black, small disappearing brown head. Salty, sourish aroma, little ammonium and liquorice. Flavor is salty liquorice, wood, burned malts and little alcohol. Mildly vinous. Medium bodied, average palate. Good salty porter.

On-tap at Bishops Arms, Porterfestivalen. Dark brown color with a brown creamy head. Rosted malt aroma with notes of licorice, coffee, black chocolate, and dark fruit. Taste of roasted malt, licorice, dark fruit, raisins, coffee, and dark chocolate, blueberries and a hint of strawberry. Creamy and full bodied mouthfeel.
