Pitch black with a minimal beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, tar, burnt wood, arrack, old man, dust, pumpernickel and vanilla. Fruity. Taste is roasted malt, dark bread, licorice tobacco, tweed jacket. Quite drinkable. Slightly watery.

On tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fa, Rome. Black with cream head. Blimey O’Reilly, this is strongly bitter with a coffee roastiness, slightly powdery on the tongue, coal tarryness then bitter fruit. The parts come together to smooth out into a very drinkable beer. good stuff.

Pours a pitch black colour with a foamy, beige and patchy head. Aroma of roasted malts, rye and sweet caramel. Flavour of strong roasted malts, dark chocolate, ryebread and mild hops. Full bodied, round mouthfeel and dryish finish. Well done.

Black, roasted porter. Aroma has hints of rye bread and taste has some chocolate.

Almost black of color with a brown head. An aroma of licorice and citrus hops. A flavor with sweets, sweet licorice and roasted malt. Very nice!

Drucken på fat på Bishop Gustav. Kolsvart med skumpuck. Kaffe imassor i både doft och smak. Lätt syrlig rostad maltkropp, lite choklad och kaffe, kaffe kaffe. Som en snäll espresso med alla dess aromer, men med en lätt sötma. Mycket gott.

Pours black brown with small head. Aroma a mix of heather honey, roasted malts, Finnish "mämmi" and fidges. Flavor of fidges, mämmi, fruits and roasted malts; hoppy. Full bodied on palate. Finish is very pleasant malty, hoppy and fruity.

Draught. Black with a beige/light brown head. Aroma: berries, sushi restaurant (meaning japanese soy sauce, sea weed and just general umami). Taste: milky, sweet, fruity, lightly roasted malts and some soy sauce (although not very salty). Medium full body, smooth and drinkable.

Thick brown foam that lasts. Dark red brown color that is determined in the end when you have just a litle left of the beer as it is black in larger amounts. Small malt aroma from black malts. The taste has a big nice chocolate taste with red fruits. It has a big bitterness and large body.
