Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, milk chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long to average duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily and smooth, carbonation is soft.

From tap at Borefts. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and caramelish, toffee. Dense malty, crisp hoppy and light citrusy to peachy. Botter, dry malty and roasted malty.

A black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with quite a lot of coffee as well as lots of over ripe fruits and prunes, and lighter notes of alcohol and berries. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of both coffee, cocoa, and berries, leading to a dry roasted end.

Draught@Konttori, Tampere. Pitch black colour, small brown thick head. Aroma is weak roasted coffee beans and chocolate. The flavour is strong roasted coffee beans. Long roasted aftertaste. Full palated. Totally brilliant brew. Another strong product from Närke.

[Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm] Very black, creamy firm head. Aroma of chocolate and licorice. Full bodied and velvetty soft, surprisingly dryish for it’s size. Mild, yet rich flavours of chocolate and caramel. Lightly tarry finish with fairly low bitterness.

Draught @t Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Pours a pitch black colour with a longlasting tan head. Roasted malty aroma with hints of chocolate and hops. Sweet malty flavor with lots of chocolate and coffee. Malty finish with chocolate hints and a warming bitter aftertaste. Very nice.

Black color with impressive big creamy head. Very nice aroma, roasted malt, vanilla, hop, a bit cheesy. Smooth texture, well malty, some sweetness, very well mixed, with roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, yeast. The final is well balanced, with a mix of all.

Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 1. Opaque dark brown - black beer. Little pale tan head. Palate is fresh and a little dry. Fresh dark malt, no roast or bitterness. Mild lactose. Mild coffee. Minerals. Semi dry finish. Decent.
