4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Draught @ BA Folkis. Pours black with a latte coloured head. Lots of coffe and coffee bean notes in the aroma, and dark chocolate. Tastes like a chocolate liqour bonbon with the dryness that comes from really dark chocolte and a porteresque sourness. Also some kind of bourbony, vanilla notes. I would place this beer somwhere in the middle of a Baltic Porter and a Imperial Stout.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at the Bishops Arms, Savoy, Malmo. Poured a deep mahogany with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt with a little alcoholic liqourice. The flavour is strong bitter with a strong rich alcoholic malt fruit palate and a short bitter finish. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. A superb beer indeed. Track it down if you can. Sweden is a good starting point :-)

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Härligt krämig och samtidigt nästan lite läskande (måste ha druckigt något tungt precis innan). Tydliga kaffetoner och låg beska. SMÖF 2013

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap @ Borefts 2012. It’s a good as black in the glass and it has a nice medium sized sidesticking brown bubbly top. On the nose there is a bit of licorice, chocolate and a fruity dark sweetness. Not really any clear roasted aromas, but it’s nice and gentle. Much more roasted in the taste! It’s average small prickling on the carbonation and it has a oily gliding mouthfeel. A bit sweet perhaps? Lot’s of sweet licorice root and some chocolate malts. Really liked this one! 30.09.2012

JW pulls out a GROWLER of this pre hunahpus day. SAY WHAT? Yeah. WHAT THE HELL. Black pour, brown head. Flavors are big and bold, chocolate, coffee, ashy, charred wood, a bit dry on the finish. Roasty goodness. What a treat to try this!

Some cocoa, gentle dryness, hops and bitterness. A bit roasty. Initial is dry, roasty, some gentle smoke. Some middling body with roast, dryness, some cookies and bakers chocolate. Middle is a bit sweeter, biscuity, toffee. Some dryness, roast preach into the backend and finish dry, roasty, gentle spice. Mellow hop presence makes an appearance. Solid.
