3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ktwse (224) - SWEDEN - AUG 18, 2011
UPDATED: AUG 19, 2011 Pours golden yellow with a big, frothy white head. Aroma is pine, citrus, and a touch of pungent grass. Very much IPA stuff. Taste is more APA, with less bitterness and a weaker finish. The hops are still clearly present, but body is very light and the bitterness is quite mellow. Again, pine and citrus. A very drinkable beer.

Golden colour and thick white head that leaves lots of lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine resin and fresh pineapple. Combined with a well balanced bitterness and a light body it all ads up to a very refreshing APA. Truly a beer to pine for (sorry).

Huge thanks to diego for breaking this bad boy out at 8 in the morning. poured yellow gold with a great white shark head. aroma and flavor were very citrusy with peach, white grape, and orange. body was light and fizzy.

On tap. I didn’t like this beer too much. This doesn’t mean it is not good of course but I found it a little bit cloying. Maybe it’s not my favorite genre. Maybe the pineapple and the pine resin taste combination didn’t give me a completely pleasant sensation.

Big thanks to Diego for this one.
A: Pours a nice goldish hue of yellow with a nice tall white head. Left plenty of chunky lace behind.
S: Wonderful hoppy aromas. Lots of lemon and orange, subtle notes of pine.
T: Great tasting and refreshing, great way to kick of Hunahpus morning. Wonderful zesty lemon, hints of orange and pine sweetness. Subtle grassy notes as well. A very very well made pale ale, one of the best I have ever had quite honestly.
M: On the lighter side of medium, perfect carbonation.

Tap at Oliver Twist in Stockholm, Sweden. The pour is a hazed orange with a massive, whipped cream, sheen, rocky, superlative IPA head. Infinite retention. Could probably lay a penny on the head without it sinking. Aroma is heavy orange candy, orange peel, grapefruit. Taste is juicy and rich up front but then moves to citrus, soapy, bitter, and a bit sickly sweet at a certain point. Palate is dry, soapy, bitter. More like an English IPA.

Draft at Oliver Twist in Stockholm, newly arrived, staff recommendation. Golden color, medium white head. Aroma of pineapple and pine resin. Taste is similar. Not overly bitter. A winner.

I drank this at Narke with Hans, bottle into a Narke tulip.
This beer is one of beers all brewed the same but with different hops, this one with amarillo, Sim-ko with comco and slattol.
The beer pours a nice light gold with lots of white carbonation. Ok retention and lacing...This beer is all about the arom and taste. A super refreshing easy to drink pale ale. Light citrus on the front with lemon, and a super smooth hop finish. Enough to give it taste, but super easy to drink. This beer is awesome, second only to the Kagge.
Seek this beer out in Stockholm or Copenhagen if you’re lucky.

Great pale ale! Aromas of hops, yeast, light fruit. Flavor is crisp, hoppy, lightly malty, great carbonation. Great beer and amazing for the style!

Thank you Greg for sharing this bottle. Again, being early in the morning I did not have a proper glass, so had to resort to a styrofoam cup. This means tons of foam. Citrusy/yeasty flavors and aromas..
