2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at EBF 08. Lots of people were raving about this, but I thought too much. Clear pale gold, thin cream head. Hop aroma is too grassy. Bit unattractive aroma. Not fantastic. Not great.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at EBF. Clear golden, pale small head. Grainy, grassy hoppy nose. Very clean, grainy malty and grassy flavor. Some fruitiness. Almost medium bodied, soft carbonation. I had this one just after Black as Coal, so it felt veeery light.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. I knew that Narke wouldn’t disappoint me at EBF and so it proved. This was the first beer of theirs I had at the fest and it was great! Very clear golden amber appearance with a line of fine head. Superb Amarillo hop aroma and flavour. So damn flowery and perfumery, just how I like it. Great lingering finish too.

Tap at EBF: Clear golden with a full creamy white head. Nose is different & quite narke like. European hops & amarillo hops in the end. Yeast, grain & grass. Crisp & elegant! Reminds me of Odense pilsner - in a good way!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
[on tap at EBF 2008]
Aroma: blast of amarillo hops: citrus, pine, and cream with lotus root malt. Almost clear yellow with a dense white shaving cream top. Exellent hops flavour together with not too much bitterness (which is usually the case), though could use a bit more sweet caramel. Notes of candy/oxidation. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, moderate bitterness in the finish.

Single american hopped..very nice aroma thereoff - Citrus-notes and very fresh due to the Amarillo-hops...but vey easy. The taste is fresh and like a multivitamin multijuice..in a positive way.The finish is light.
This one makes an exelent summer-beer.
