Tap. Hazy orange with a slight off white head. Aroma is sweet malts, dank hops, orange, pine, caramel. Taste is nice pine, orange, sweet malts, some grapefruit at the back, caramel, slightly dank. Pretty good!

This is perhaps not the most typical DIPA, maybe it is even a bit raw, but it is a damn good ale. The brew is malty and has a fairly high ABV (8.2%), but it is its hoppy character that sticks with you. Tastewise it has very little in common with a belgian tripel, but the dryness it leaves in your mouth is very similar. If you find this brew at your local pub or at a beer festival, try it and brace for impact!

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Hazy ruby/amber, small head. Rich floral nose with gooseberries, lychee, black cherries and grapefruit peels. Mid sweet with near full bosy and well rounded mouthfeel. Resinous with notes of burnt peaches. Very bitter finish.

Draught at BA Folkis. Pours amber with a little head. Rather thin body for a dipa. Odd brew with just a little of everything, some resin like a UK brew, granulated sugar, slightly burnt. And of course some hoppy notes, passion fruits and orange peels.

Draught @ BA Folkis. Pours orange, almost red, with a small white head. Notes of burned caramel, pineapple and bakers yeast in aroma. Taste has notes of reisin, grape and pine needles. It has a rather dark fruitiness and lacks of sweetness. Warming alcohol. Strange yeast notes!

Draught @ Pikkulintu 1.12.2012. Hazy amber, thin but lasting white head. Pine, caramel, toffee in aroma. Flavor similar, very piney, slighly sweet. Bitter finish with some menthol as well. Nice, well hopped DIPA.

Draught at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Hazy amber in color with small off-white head. Pine, hay and some earthy notes in aroma. No sign of the alcihol. Taste quite grassy bitterness and more of forrest piney-like notes in flavor. Some sweetness in aftertaste with some grapefruit in finish.

Draught @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki

Pours dark orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of fruity hops, caramel, toffee and pine. Taste is fruity and sweetish with notes of hops, grapefruit, citrus, caramel and toffee. Finish is hoppy and malty with mild sweet toffee notes. Nice, quite tasty, but slightly sweetish DIPA.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20121125) The beer deep amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and almost white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness, pine, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pine, grass, white bread, malts and bitterness. Afteraste was fruity, malty and bitter. A very balanced very hoppy beer

Draught at ÖÖWF 2012. Lots of hops, "catpie" and grass. Similar taste. Strong but smooth bitterness. Very nice DIPA.
