Not my kind of taste, hay, smell of plain, harch and long bitterness, a lot of taste of the alcohol

On tap at The Rover, Göteborg. Amber colour, moderate head. Initially a strange aroma of sweaty socks, then some grapefruity hops come through. Flavour is malty and somewhat alcoholic with raisin notes. Quite sweet, more of a barleywine style.

Aroma gives peachy, hoppy, candy sugar. Taste is similar balanced more than expected. A seriously good beer, however not an iipa.

Draught. Amber colour, mediumsized white creamy head. Flowery and fruity hops in aroma. Same in flavour along with weak alcohol and some greassyness. Long hoppy aftertaste. Very wellbalanced and smoothly drinkable brew.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2007 (Bottle, Haket - Göteborg, may 2006. 8,5%) Big, white head. Slowley decreasing. Honey-orange-amber-coloured. Aroma of sweet exotic fruitjuice. Peach and mandarin. Citrusy, bitter and dry in the nose. Tiny hints of candybanana with honey-tones. Flavour of big grapefruitish bitterness. Pineapple, orange and apricots. Sweetish, rasiny and a bit oily .Good body. Swedens only attempt for a doubble IPA, hang loose.

Draught at Bishops Arms (söder) in Stockholm, Sweden. November 2005.
Double IPA with OG 1-081 and ABV 7.8%.
My first ever experience of this brewery, though I’ve tried lots more since. Nice color, nice hoppy scent and taste. No real hint of the strong alcohol part from the warming feeling. Really well made and balanced.

Excellent beer with a crazy flavor, not what I expected. Tested in on bottle at The Bishop’s Arns in Örebro..... Now it’s coming to my (precious) pub =)

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2009 (Draught@Pikkulintu) Very hazy golden-amber with a small but firm head. Exotic-fruity, aromatic-hoppy nose. Intense grapefruity bitterness in the flavor dries towards the finish with faint ashy-smoky hints. Medium body, lowish carbonation. A simple, but very nice and balanced brew. (Bottled, was 7-3-8-4-15) Slightly hazy golden color with a small, bubbly head. Berryish aroma with some fruit. Surprisingly mellow hopping in the aroma. Aromatic hops are stronger in the flavor, but not overwhelming. Nice maltiness with a smoothly mouth-drying finish. A nice, smooth and malty IPA.

Floral, nutty, perfumey, orange hop nose with obvious underlying sweetness. Clear amber brown with low but lasting white head. Floral, orange, perfumey hops over sweet, nutty malts with strong finishing bitterness. Medium body with crisp carbonation. Bottle sampled at RBESG 2005.
