Bottled @ RBESG2005: After drinking Banks Legends this was like going to heaven. Dark golden coloured. Light unclear. Beige head. Fruits, herbs, spices, some citric notes in the aroma. Flavour is very hoppy. Herbs, sweetness, some alcoholnotes, spices and fruits comes to mind while drinking this beer. Full bodied and pretty well balanced. Is very bitter with a touch of sweetness in the end. Really nice one.

On draught at The Rover, Göteborg. Amber colour with a tint of red.Slight piney in nose, but Närke House yeast dominates. Yet again a beer from Närke that reminds me of Southampton beers in NY. Mouthfeel is thick and almost sticky, still smooth. The bitterness seems balanced or is it just to little of bittering hops? Flavouring hops almost, but not quite, balances the sweetness - lots of residual sugars here. The dryness is ok. I did not find this very American IIPA, more leaning towards an American Barley Wine. I want more hops and less sweetness. Still, it’s tasty!

Very hazy but probably light amber coloured. Hoppy grass notes in aroma. Initially very sweet. Rich in carbondioxide. Malty taste with a sticky alcohol (?) feeling. Warming but gives you a bit of a tired aftertaste with plenty of sweetness.
