Bottle. A huge thank you to my friend in the "cool" cat t-shirt. Joan Jett black pour with a dark mocha colored head. Classic StormaktsPorter fudge and caramel aromas with boozy Cognac highlights. Nice lacing. Fantastic body and mouthfeel. Smooth warm boozy overtones with sublime chocolate, fudge, and carmel notes with undercurrents of dark roasted malts and expresso. Wonderful balance with enough bitterness from the roasted malts to offset the sweet chocolate/fudge/caramel characteristics. Another gem from the crew at Narke....

Bottle shared with the District posse. Joan Jett black pour with a mocha head. The nose is fabulous with that classic Stormakporter fudge and undercurrent of oak, dark roasted malts and caramel. Bold dark roasted malts, fudge, vanilla, all kinds of wood, and brewer’s licorice notes. Just another insanely awesome beer from the Swedish master’s that I was lucky enough to try..............

Black color, dense brown head. Chocolate, lactic, oak, smoke, whisky scent, though with for me a bit too evident alcohol. Smoke, sweet, lactic, caramel, honey, smooth ooooh so good taste! Very smooth mouthfeel. Berry and roasted aftertaste. Medium bitterness. Very very nice!

Bottle @ 3 Små Rum. Pours pitch black, oily thick with a tense great brown head leaving small laces. Aroma is fullbodied as kaggen is with a very nice nutty touch, also noticeable oakiness and some smokeyness. Flavor as great, once again lots of nuts and oak. Finishes longlived sweet, roasted, bitter and honey sweet.

Super chocolatey and fresh oak aroma. Pitch black in color with a creamy brown head. Sweet chocolatey taste, the wood is quite subtle. Excellent! On tap at the Borefts Beer Festival 2010

Bottle… This beer rocks!… Pours dark brown and murky with a miniscule, creamy, khaki head. The aroma screams “VANILLA” and “FUDGE” with a small splash of vinous tawny port. Full-bodied and velvety with soft carbonation. The flavor presents sweet fudge, vanilla and mocha up front; then heavy, burnt, woody bitterness on the flip-side. Finishes scorched, bitter, mildly acidic and lightly acrid. Big-time thanks to a good friend for sharing this world class wonder! You know who you are.
