3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
(Draught@SOPP, Helsinki) Hazy golden with a small head. Very citrusy-hoppy, original aroma with exotic fruits and dandelions. Quite strongly hoppy, exotic-fruity and citrusy, dry flavor with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body, soft-carbonated, refreshing. A very nice and beautifully hoppy, dry summer ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap sample @ Haand Festival 2013. Light copper-hued body, small white head. Nose is nutty malts, red berries and hints of oranges and grass. Taste is sweet nuts, caramel, almonds, grains, grass, hints of peaches and resin. Low on bitter/sweetness integration; the two feels as if standing side by side rather than being integrated features of the beer. Also, it does taste a bit...strange, in search of a better term. Full body, medium carbonation. OK, but far from the best Närke can do.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
[EBF @ Copenhagen, September 2008] Average light creamy like beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Cloudy golden – amber color. Aroma was good hoppyness with some fruit, caramel, and mild grainy feel. Over the palate came a bit more hoppy character the in the nose. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Moderated bitter flavor with some counter sweetness. Dry bitter finish. Very nice and highly drinkable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Bishops ARms in Örebro. Fruity and yeasty smell, feels belgo. A note of smoke. Sweet taste with quite a high residual sweetness, also caramel. Hard to put a type on this beer, doesn’t feel like an IPA, more like a dark belgian. Not quite a bruin either.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ Haandfest 2013. This one pours a blurry deep wood golden body and it has a small quickly sidesticking light beige top. Nice sweet on the nose. Lots of caramelized caramel, lots of honey melon, some zesty fruity thing and some subtle grassy hops. It’s really sweet this! Loaded with malty sweetness it’s definitely on the sweet side of the scale. Really sticky on the mouthfeel and the carbonation is soft prickling. Lots if raisin sweetness also here. By all means it liking it, but it feels way to sweet for a ipa. Light mouthdrying finish and aftertaste. 25.05.2013
