4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
250 ml bottle @ Akkurat. Pours black with a tan head. Coffee, dark chocolate and hints of dark fruits, vanilla and oak. Flavour includes roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, cognac and oak. Quite full-bodied with a chocolate-like finish. Nice imperial stout, but not probably worth the price.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
250mL from Akkurat in Stockholm, Sweden. The pour is near ink with a smaller, deep tan head. Not too much retention. Leaves sheety, tan lace. Aroma is raisin and dark fruit heavy, light olive, heavy bitter roast and coffee, burnt black cherries, flank steak, fatty steak, fruity/melon notes, sweet porter notes that is identical to De Molen’s dark beers. Smells similar to Heaven & Hell or Misto BA. Taste begins very sweet and burnt cherry heavy moving to dirty bitter, raw cacao, coffee, lavender, cinnamon, allspice. Palate is milky, soft, rich, bitter, sharp. Gets a little olive in there. Don’t get much cognac out of this one but more fruitiness. It’s nice, but I wouldn’t miss it.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Big thanks to lagomsweden for sharing this! The pours is dark and silky smooth with some ruby tinges at the edges. The nose is woody, very dark chocolaty, and lots of wine/cognac notes. The finish is all chocolate and cognac. Perfect mouthfeel and very warming. Great beer.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Thanks to Darren (lagomsweden) for sharing this gem. Pours deep brown with a finger thick dark tan head. Huge wonderful nose of coffee, dark chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is incredibly smooth and balanced with the same influences as the nose, with the addition of a long and lasting finish, ending in what seems to be toasted marshmallows. A huge treat. Thanks Darren!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had this beer at the 2nd edition of the Molen beerfestival. Coffee dark chocolate with some hints of cognac. The taste however, is somewhat less balanced than the regular version. There was some very light sourness, strong coffee, dark chocolate, darkfruits, and again some hints of cognac. The mouthfeel seemed thinner than the regular kaggen!. Overal a very very nice beer, however, I would always prefer the regular kaggen! over this one. The regular kaggen is so much more balanced and creamy in the aftertaste! still great beer though

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled, thanks HåGe & Berith! Black, dark brown head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and grain whisky. Mid-sweet with full bodied. The cognac here is moire subtle than the bourbon in Kaggen. Soft and edgesless, plenty of licorice and coffee, slight notes of wood. Not as direct and flavourful as Kaggen, but really well made.

Bottle@Omhpers place. Thanks for sharing this gem with us!
Apperance: Dark as night with a small, brown, head and some lacing.
Smell: Alcohol, Cognac, Roasted malts, Vanilla.
Taste: Cognac, Alcohol, Roasted malts, Caramel, Chocolate, Vanilla and some wood.
Palate: Nice, smooth and elegant. Not as filling or smooth as the normal kaggen! but still top notch. Let this one warm up _alot_ as it was very boozish when it was colder.
Another fine brew from the "hippies" at Närke that makes me wish that i could get my hands on their brew outside the pubs. If you’re anywhere close to Akkurat, give this beer a try. You won’t regret it!
HG, Berith and Christoffer, you guys rock!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle sampled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Pours out in an opaque black colour with a low firm pale brown head. Big rounded and deep aroma of layers of dark malts, luxury chocolate, tobacco, wood and sweet coffe with hints of prunes and red berries. Full-bodied with rich rounded deep flavours of dark chocolate, roasted malts, fudge, wood, heather, tobacco and dried red grapes. Smooth and really rounded chewy mouthfeel. Long balanced finish of milky and dark chocolate, wood, roasted malts with hints of cognac. Darn tasty for sure but I still prefer the original Stormaktsporter and Kaggen over this. Still great stuff.
