Draught@Beer Hunters, Pori
Deep amber color, good creamy German-type smoke, caramel and some fruity hoppyness. Medium-bodied. Smoke, caramel, licorice then fruity finish. Interesting combination with caramel malts and smoke. Very delicious. Not much to do with the original Örebro Bitter.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mjs (2862) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 3, 2011
(Draught at Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, 20111003) The beer poured dark brown and quite clear. Its head was quite large and almost white. Aroma had malts, smoke, toffee and peat. Palate was medium bodied and fizzy with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, smoke, peat, toffee, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was smoky, sweet and bitter. Nice smoke and peat elements that didn’t hide the more ordinary bitter components.

Draught @ Gallow’s Bird, Espoo
Pours light brown/deep dark red with a small white head. Strong aroma of smoked malts, peat and caramel. Taste is quite untypical with light smoked notes, fruits, caramel and some roastiness and peat. Bitter and full bodied. Surprisingly well balanced and tasty.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 pantanap (2718) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 24, 2011
Narke orebro bitter peated Viking. On tap at Oliver twist... Pours a
mildly transparent amber copper reddish brown hue and topped with a
fluffy light beige head... Aroma is abundant with peated malt, mild
smokey nature while finishing on a slightly grassy note on the
backend... Flavors continue in a similar wavelength with an equaling
degree if prayed smokey malt along with the base bittering grassy
herbal hoppiness if the base beer prior to adding the peated malt. The
finish leans towards a decent degree if bitter grassiness. Clean all
around with a light to medium somewhat creamy body and adequate
carbonation. Nicely executed in-between mixture of a smoked and hoppy bitter.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jonte (1184) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - JUN 5, 2011
On-tap. Ölrepubliken Göteborg. Amber colour with an off-white head. Lots of peat smoke and tar, a bit of menthol, sweet caramel malt in the background. Peaty and bitter finish. Well brewed, but I rather drink the original Örebro Bitter.
