Palme (3163) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 1, 2013
On tap @ Haandfest 2013. This is a deep blurry dark amber one with a nice medium sized beige dense top. The aroma has a nice softly peated tone, but that’s behind a fruity sweetness, well perhaps not to fruity but definitely sweet. A bit of campfire and sweet ham all found here. It’s right below average on the prickling carbonation and it had a gliding oily mouthfeel. Again i the taste, the peat is soft dancing in the background. Malty fruity sweetness and some soft acidic hints in the finish. Not bad. 25.05.2013

Beer4000 (4395) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 27, 2013
Sampled @ Haand 2013. Clear deep amber body with a big tan head. Not too extreme peated aroma with smoke, wood and hint of caramel. Flavor is mainly peated malt, more than expected from aroma, some fruity bitterness and caramel. Medium body and peat dominating the aftertaste. Interesting but a bit one-dimensional.

Medium pale beige lasting head. Clear deep brown body. Peaty smoky earthy aroma with meaty caramelly notes. Odd. Dry-sweet roasty peaty caramelly taste with minty grainy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry perfumy smoky aftertaste with raisiny toffee notes. Intense barnyard finish. (0.15l draft at Haand Festival 2013.)
