3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 INDASTRIA (123) - Berlin & Rome, GERMANY - JAN 9, 2012
Cask @ Machesietevenutiafa. Copper color, clear appearance, white head; good lacing. Very, very weak aroma, i dare say. I could get some really good nutty, hoppy presence but i had a lot of difficult to notice something actually On the palate was a completely different story: pine, hop, a little bit resin, a lot of maple (syrup), oak, nut, malt. Quite (for the style) bitter taste and finish. the drinkability of this beer is infinite, which gives some addition score to the rate.

Draught @ Bishops Arms: Örebro on November 26. Pours copper brown with a thick grayish brown head that dissipates while leaving lots of trace on the glass. Smell is malty with caramel, sweet fruit and some resin. Taste is very malty with a lightly smoked character. There’s tar, resin, some minerals and metal. Finish is malty sweet and bitter.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 ads135 (287) - Lawrence, USA - NOV 20, 2011
For a bitter (not my favorite style) this is better than average. The richness of the hop profile sets it apart from its English relatives. Still, the wateriness is unfortunate

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Ingevara (645) - SWEDEN - OCT 20, 2011
On tap. Brown with very small head. bitter and fruity, more than a hint of syrup in the flavor. The alcohol is also apparent; it reminds me a bit of a german doppelbock, but less intense in sugar. A hint of yeast, and a good deal of roast oats.
