Pours a black body with an averaged-sized, creamy and very dense beige head. Good lacing. The aroma is strong and dark roasted with coffee and ash, hints of dark berries in the back. Strong flavours, very ashy and lots of dry, bitter, dark roasted coffee. Light to moderate sweet taste with a moderate bitter finish. Perfect mouthfeel, the texture is incredibly smooth and creamy. A lovely beer!

_angst_ (2854) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 16, 2014
Draught @ 3 Små Rum. Pours tiny hazy blackish dark brown with a small creamy mocha head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty with dark bread, burnt caramel, hay, moist soil, liquorice, dark chocolate, crisp bread, toffee and coffee hard candy. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, dark bread, burnt caramel, burnt cookies, crispbread, hay, soil, liquorice fudge, cappuccino hard candy and hints of dark roast coffee, brown sugar, dark chocolate and molasses. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny roasted astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter and malty with roasted malts, dark bread, crispbread, burnt cookies, heavy liquorice fudge, soil, hay, cappuccino hard candy and hints of bitter chocolate and dark roast coffee. This one packs a punch of complexity and mouthwatering flavours. Excellent beer! Hope they re-brew the coffee version at some point too.
