[Odense tasting at Scheffel, bottle from thewolf.] In a hard competition it got a low note, lower than expected, but a rerating will defenately rise it. Notes of fine sharp bitterness, orange cloudy look, grapes, grass, refreshness and ...yeah biscuits!!

Rastacouere (6125) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 1, 2007
Clear light golden ale topped by a light white lasting head. American citrusy hop nose is floral, oily, herbal and piney. We’re dealing with Narke though, so it does not stop there. The malts clearly climb up in mouth with their great biscuity, think tea cookies roundness. Growing white grapefruit finish, rindy and fresh. A well balanced offering with a firmly malty finish, its hops concentrating mostly on aromas.

Bottle @ ChristianScheffel tasting. [thank you, omhper]
Perhaps this brew is rated unfairly, as we placed it wrong in the tasting session - actually forgot we had it :o). But it was still a good IPA. Pours a clear golden amber with a big, frothy, stying white head. Aroma is lively and fresh with fruity hops and slight spices. Nice, creamy palate. Flavour is hoppy, peppery, lemony, grassy and fruity. There is a nice malty background with caramel and honey.

Miksu (4946) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - SEP 26, 2007
Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Dark golden color with creamy head. Perfumed hoppy aroma with lemon, raisins, honey, apricot and malt in the background. Bittersweet and honeyish flavor with biscuity maltiness and perfumed-lemony hops. Bitter finish. Very low real ale like carbonation. A bit sticky palate.
