Light white lacing on top of an almost clear yellow orange colored beer.
Smell hop, hop fruits, citrus, grapefruit, soap and some floral herbs.
Taste hop and hop fruits, cotrus, pine, grapefruit, light stingy, some malts, sweet, bitter and soapy.
Aftertaste is a mix of bitter, manure, soap, light sour tints and some malted hops.
Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light watery texture.
Lot of soap and a bit thin.

Draught @ 4th Borefts Beer Festival 2012, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.
Unclear medium to dark orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to heavy hoppy, fruity, peach, light riped fruit, light soapy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120928]

@BBF12. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is malt, grass, hay and straw. Flavour is malt, hay, straw and perfume.

Poured golden yellow with a decent white head. Grapefruit, grass, orange peel, mango, hints of vanilla in the aroma. Medium bodied, more on the light side. Fairly sweet, not too aggressive.

In short: A very strange no-style golden beer. No short description possible. Fun to try once
How: Tap at Akkurat, Stockholm
The look: Almost clear bright shinning golden body body topped by a medium white head
In long: Nose is puzzling in the way, after smelling if for a few minutes all I could come up with is it like smelling a typical citrusy IPA and jasmine flowers over a typical Chinese restaurant orange beef dish. I know if sounds weird, but it did smell weird. Taste has honeyed malts, jasmine flowers, mangos, apricots, vegetal notes (celery?), coriander and nutmeg-ish spiciness, oranges. Mild bitterness with a spicy after-taste. Also quite a bit of residual sugars in the after-taste. Oh well, this was a strange beer for sure. Not something I would like to drink on a regular basis, but it is something I am happy to have tried once, and also I get another rating, this is my rating #5200, yeah! Not sure if I spend too much time rating beers, but I am now closer to 10,000 ratings than I am to my family.

Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2012. Pours a hazy and copper beer with a white head. The aroma is malt and hops with melon and peach. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is bitterness. Overall a good beer.

Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 1. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Light crisp palate. Carbonated sting. Fresh. Mild pale malts with nice grapefruit - orange citric hops. Mild seltzer minerals. Sharp dry finish. A great ’out of the blue’ beer - really refreshing.

Beer #8 at BBF12. Nice IPA. Very bitter notes with a smooth, bitter aftertaste. Some citrus there too.

Aroma of pine, plenty of hops, slight grass, slight caramel, slight honey. Taste is slightly sweet up front, with a rather long and bitter aftertaste. Average body, with a semi-fizzy carbonation. Sure is tasty..
