| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 20, 2009 (Draught) Pours dark mahogany brown with a creamy nougat coloured head. The aroma has that typical blue plum and wild strawberry twist, like all Närke beers. The malt brings toasted cookies and grain. Some green, grassy hops in the background. Bit earthy as well. The flavour is light sweet and light to medium bitter. Tones of crisp bread and light burned roast alongside grassy and earthy hops. Maybe a whisper of fruity esters. The mouthfeel is light and clean. Light to medium carbonation. Crisp bread and hops in the aftertaste. Light bodied. omhper (12335), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 17, 2009 Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear dark brown, rocky head. Rich aroma of mango and lychee. Mid-dry and just lightly roasty with thick layers of hops. Flavourful and elegang - more of a hoppy ale that happens to be brown than a brown ale in the original sense. Finishes bitterish with dust and perfume. Very likable. ante (2977), Stockholm, Sweden

Pours out in a clear reddish brown colour with a small frothy tan-coloured foam. Roasted malts, caramel and blue plums in the aroma with dryish and airy notes of minerals, mild lemon and crackers. Medium to light-bodied with notes of hazelnuts, burnt caramel, plums, earth, caramelized sugar and roasted nuts with touches of minerals and grass. Medium-bitter finish of caramel, roasted malts, hay, lemon and almonds. Really good Brown Ale, a style which is really hard to appreciate, IMHO... finol (528), Nacka (Stockholm), Sweden
