Slightly sourish and nutty aroma with notes of chocolate, soy and dates. Flavor is bitter and astringent with a smoky note. Overall leaning more towards english than american stouts. Perfectly aged right now. ggaughan (94), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Luxembourg

The beer poured a deep black hole color with a deep brown head that runs away quickly. The nose had some wonderful chocolate and caramel notes. The taste has a definite bitter chocolate taste with some dried fruit notes and a great malty backbone. I am glad I finally got a chance to try one of the Narke beers. andersand (402), Malmö, Sweden

Olily and slick with loads of flavour, berries, chocolate, fruit. Very complex and multidimensional but at the same time polite with a rather carefull approach. Another well balanced Stout from Narke. Aroma indicated signs of aging, but the "Porter" is dominated by various flavors of Liquorice, roasted malt, Vanilla, bold coffee, and (bitter) dark fruits (raisins, prunes, and maybe cherries).
