The scent of apricot. The taste is sweet with much sweetness and low bitterness. Bitterness gets pretty intense in the aftertaste where it hangs around long. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Sampled from tap. Dark brown to black. Dense, lacing choco head. Soft aroma with rounded and gently roasted dark malts. Creamed coffee, milk-chocolate and mild roast. Silky mouthfeel. Medium to full body. Taste is roastier than the aroma indicate. Bitter chocolate and coffee-ground. Hint of licorice and ash. Also an underlying mellow malt-sweetness. Lingering roasty-bitter finish.

Borefts Beer Festival 2013. Near black with a small, but lasting tan head. Malty aroma of toffee, caramel and licorice with a touch of fruit. Sweet caramel and toffee flavour with vanilla notes. Too sweet for me

Gedronken op Borefts’13. Donkerbruine kleur met een kleine beige schuimkraag. Ruikt en smaakt naar koffie, zoet, zachte chocolade, beetje roasty. Wel lekker.

On tap at Haand Festival. A clear looking dark brown beer topeed by a finger-thick, dense, brown head. The aroma is roasted with lots of chocolate. Some hoppy scents too, grapefruit mostly. The flavor too is roasted and bitter, with chocolate, pine cones and grapefruit. Full body, quite dry and with a pleasant carbonation. Nice bitterness in the lasting finish which is quite roasted. A pleasant hoppy porter. 130524

Draught @ Pikkulintu
Aroma is nice with licorice, roasted tones and some sweet toffee. Also vanilla. Very creamy palate. Flavour has somewhat salty licorice, some herbal tones and hints of spices. Good, perhaps a bit too salty.

Pours pitch black with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, licorice, coffee and grassy hops. Taste is smooth and roasty with loads of coffee, licorice, dark chocolate and cocoa. Finish is roasty, bitter and salty with notes of licorice, cocoa and hops. Quite nice and tasty porter.

Tap @Pikkulintu
Dark opaque black color, small beige head. Sweetish licorice, some toasted black coffee notes. Medium to full-bodied. Roasted, salted licorice, coffee beans, ash and some burned notes. A bit too coffeish-ashy for my liking.
